Is there any way to filter PT by number of hands, e.g. only show last 5000 hands.

Just do it by guesstimating a date range in Preferences. So it's ~10 days if you play 500 hands a day.

So, if deception and aggression are the key to NL, wtf are you trying to do at minbet? Is it all about the maths?

I always find it hilarious when people discuss "sick" minibet plays in BBV or wherever, and it's like ONE extra bet at the end or something lol. Just so bizarre.

[/ QUOTE ]

Minbet fishmax might be all about the maths. But is is also a lot about adjusting to players. Since it is just one more bets, most hands get shown down .. and against some you can valuebet acehigh and against others you can't.

Some are bluffable with a turn c/r, some aren't.

Some will allow you to make a free card/showdown raise, some will 3bet you on principle ... etc etc.

There is no hammer of future bets, so you are suddenly pushing much thinner values. I is like a puzzle, quite fun actually ... tho the smaller winrates imply longer breakeven streches and other variance related nuicances.

Tho if you are not a losing player, minbet is a nice rb generator.

Yikes ... down 200BB is not unheard of, but it is a lot, especially on a 1$ table ????

If you decide to get back to minbet, send me a batch of hands and i'll review them (tho I'm no minbet expert)

Couldn't stand 25NL anymore .... ouch the boredom and the pain (plus my handreading is severely off)

Nice to be back at 50NL with the Gamboolers again ... poker is no fun without at least some degree of aggression

Kazana managed to stack me with QQ vs JJ all in pf .... then he left

I'd be more worried if I would stay seated to your right. That'd mean I'd have to find someone to knock my head repeatedly until there's been some sense beaten into it.
At least was I able to grab another quick 3/4 stack on the way out before you try to take it.

Looking at the other two hands, seems like I boomswitched you with that stackage...

Gelford how come you are playing at 25nl? You seem like a good player, and didn't I play against you at 200nl?

And netstorm, when are we going to play some limit poker live at the casino?

no need to send you HHs, i'll just sum up every hand for you:

900 people limp, i raise with AhKh. turn is 4th diamond. opponents get into a raising frenzy with each other.

The entire population of India limps and I call with a SC (plays good multiway right?). I make a flush and lose to seventy five higher flushes.

I raise with AK, and miss the flop for the 2,000th time on a J98 flop and have to fold blank turn (getting less than 6:1 or whatever the odds are supposed to be).
