Re: LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring (GAME THREAD)
The group of adventurers continues down the river, and pulls off near Amon Hen, the Hill of Seeing where the ancient kings of Gondor would sit to view their kingdom.
Everyone starts to make camp, gather firewood, and prepare to rest here for the night. Sam notices that Frodo has disappeared, and heads in the direction of Amon Hen to see if he can find him. Boromir is missing too. Suddenly a brigade of Uruk Hai, vicious orcs specially bred to tolerate the sunlight, bursts into the camp. With surprise on their side, they make short work of Luckayluck before they even realize that he's a Nazgul. With the other members of the Fellowship missing, they easily grab Merry and Pippin, and it becomes clear that they're after one thing -- hobbits. It is NIGHT 8. Night actions due by 8am please. |

Re: LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring (GAME THREAD)
(Yes, I know that Merry and Pippin were already dead, but it's impossible to find a good picture of that scene that doesn't involve two hobbits . I'm just assuming that the group was carrying around their corpses for the last six days.)
-------- Frodo has been off gathering wood near Amon Hen, when Boromir approaches him and tries to convince him to bring the One Ring to Gondor to help in its defense against Mordor. Or really, better that Boromir just take it there himself, since he, like, totally knows a great shortcut to the city. As Boromir moves closer with frenzy in his eyes, Frodo panics and puts on the Ring. He vanishes and runs, leaving Boromir flailing around for him. Frodo runs down to the river still invisible, and, realizing that Galadriel's words were true, decides to head for Mordor and the fires of Mount Doom alone. He grabs provisions, pushes one of the boats into the river, and jumps in. Econophile, aka Frodo, has left the Fellowship to quest on his own It is Day 9. Nightfall at 10pm tonight. Sunday is another day. |

Re: LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring (GAME THREAD)
Confirmed Villagers Iron_Yuppie nez nichp Peeked Villagers lastchance stephen Unknowns dmk kumubou soah zurvan We have two peekable evils, and one Godfather. Unless nich has a peeked evil for us, we know that boromir & the last nazgul are in the Unknown group. I know that it's not me. We can't just lynch all 4 in the unknown group, unless the Godfather is also in that group. If we happen to lynch Saruman before making a mistake, then it's over. If we lynch two villagers, it's over, but the wrong way. Nich: if you have peeked one villager among the unknowns, tell us. That will give us three unknowns to lynch from, so we get all the peekable evils lynched, and hopefully the Godfather. If the Godfather has been peeked, we'll end up in the final 3 with 3 peeked villagers, one of whom is definitely the Godfather. Then it will be a standard final 3. Obviously, if you've got a wolf, you need to tell us. Somebody poke a hole in this argument. I don't know how much I'm going to be around today, so the sooner you get in here, the better. |

Re: LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring (GAME THREAD)
zurvan, i'm very comfortable w/ you being a villager at this point.
i'm like 99% sure we can go kumu->soah and then have 2 days to worry about who the godfather is kumu |

kumu
I may or may not be back before night tonight. I will be around all day tomorrow. I'd be very happy if nich left us the information I requested. |

Kumubou
Probably not changing (barring a peek). If Nich has any extra peeks, he obviously needs to tell us today, cuz he's getting night-killed tomorrow. Zurvan's analysis looks correct. |

Re: LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring (GAME THREAD)
now u may understand why i couldn't give more info...i had none
as wolves know, they blocked econo 2 times this game so i had no more peeks, just econo's identity they figured that out i'm sure by the fact that i didn't give more peeks or just by process of elimination 2 of kumu/soah/dmk/zurvan are wolf/boromir, and one of them or either lc/stephen is godfather i'm dead tonite, so gl village kumu is godfather i think tho, so then we have it wrapped up if so since 2/3 of dmk/zurvan/soah would be final 2 wolves if kumu is wolf/boromir instead, then i'd still go dmk/zurvan/soah until u get the other wolf/boromir and then figure out from there the godfather good luck |
