yes, without a doubt.

a-rod will be forgiven for having a decent postseason (i.e .250-.280 BA, and below-average (for him) HRs and RBIs), but another 3 for 20 kind of deal and he's right back in the fans' doghouse.

my secret is to basically write down whatever kyleb, thayer or any other known baseball expert say, and try to repeat it where i feel it is necessary.

In all honestly, I'm just a casual fan who's just trying to become more knowledgeable. I find all this VORP and WARP and GURP stuff fascinating. But for the most part, I'm pretty clueless.

That is the point. If 5% of the stadium crowd boos ARod, it sounds overwhelming. There are fans who boo just about anyone in a slump... and there will be lots of frustration if ARod doesn't perform in the post season. But I am the first to tell fellow Yankee fans to STFU when they are booing just about any Yankee. But there just aren't that many boo birds.

When any player fails to come through, you have every right to throw up your hands, complain to your neighbor and buy another overpriced beer... that's how I typically deal with it.
