There is absolutely no chance that McCarver understands this aspect of it. I guarantee you he thinks its just a statistical anomaly. Did you hear the way he phrased it, something like "Well...THIS YEAR SO FAR, more runs have been scored after homeruns." He is very skeptical, LOL. This year so far...yeah and every other year and in the history of baseball.
