I heard this morning that in addition to Phil, Steve Kerr was also forced to evacuate. WTF, I had no idea he was from that area, and no clue why he isn't in Phoenix, grooming the Suns for their inevitable NBA championship run.

Wow, I had no idea so many 2+2ers were in San Diego.

I live in Poway. I evacuated Monday, drove up to LA, and stayed at the Commerce [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

On Tuesday I returned to Poway. Things seem under control there. Now I'm at work in La Jolla and things are fine here as well.

Iggy, downtown La Jolla has a bunch of places to eat and some bars, though I doubt its all that hoppin'. There's a mall in La Jolla called UTC and a plaza that houses whole foods, across the street from that there's another little strip mall with places to eat, a Ralph's, and a theater (saw Darjeeling Limited yesterday and thought it was not very good). You can also check out La Jolla Shores or Black's Beach, there are a ton of surfers out but who knows if you want to be in the smog etc. What about pacific beach?
