So, this is one of the first hands I played when taking a shot at 2/4:

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (6 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero raises, SB folds, BB calls.

Okay, so he as diamonds (donk on 2 flush board is about 90% flush draw.)

Turn: (5 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls.

Okay, maybe he doesn't. He has A8? Nah, he has diamonds.

River: (11 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Well, there is no point in betting when he won't call with his diamond draw.

Final Pot: 11 BB

Results in white below:
BB has 5d 2d (high card, ace).
Hero has As Td (one pair, aces).
Outcome: Hero wins 11 BB.

FTOP perfect. After he says that he misclicked on the turn. Ya right buddy. I'm not sure why I decided to take the spew line on the turn. I guess I just thought that once you get past 1/2, turn raises actually start to mean less than 2 pair more often. This theory hasn't worked as well lately though.

[/ QUOTE ]

I would never three bet that turn, because if I did I'd get capped 75% of the time and lose or get called 25% and lose. Good read, though.

[/ QUOTE ]

I just proved your theory incorrect. Please add the 5%, I'm going to check raise my flush draw on the turn when there is no chance he's going to fold. This is either A8o or a flush draw, but there are many more flush draws. All this translates into I got lucky. This is why I post this in the NC.

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls, Hero raises, CO 3-bets, Button caps, 2 folds, UTG folds, Hero calls, CO calls.

Flop: (14.50 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, CO checks, Button bets, Hero raises, CO folds, Button calls.

Turn: (9.25 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

No idea what I was doing here.

River: (9.25 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, Button raises, Hero calls.

It worked out though.

Final Pot: 13.25 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has 9h 9s (two pair, nines and fours).
Button has 6s 5s (two pair, fives and fours).
Outcome: Hero wins 13.25 BB.

I think CO folded a T as well because he was upset after that hand.

I've induced this guy before, but apparently he doesn't care:

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
3 folds, Hero raises, BB calls.

Flop: (4 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls.

River: (5 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 7 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has 6h Ah (high card, ace).
BB has 5d 6c (high card, king).
Outcome: Hero wins 7 BB.

You know what's interesting about online poker now? Everybody thinks that everybody is always semi-bluffing. That let's me do things like this:

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
4 folds, SB raises, Hero calls.

Flop: (4 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB calls.

Turn: (4 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB calls.

River: (8 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

Final Pot: 10 BB

Results in white below:
SB has Jh 9h (one pair, jacks).
Hero has 7h Js (two pair, jacks and sevens).
Outcome: Hero wins 10 BB.

it's a lot of bets. my dad and uncle like to bet football. they are sick of dealing with wannabe mobsters making bets, like to bet online.

it's funny because they are the people who feel the loss of online gambling maybe as much as us. I remember my uncle was rambling about all the things that have gone wrong in his life as a result of someone/something else. and then he looks at me and goes "but i still get to go home, drink a bottle of wine, and lose $50 playing poker online, rambling with your dad. And now they want to take THAT away from me!?"

does anyone else order takeout more/eat out more when they're running good?

I have a hard time motivating myself to go shopping and cook a meal when I'd be eating worse food and losing money due to the opportunity cost of not playing poker
