I think pretending we can stop something like 9/11 from ever happening is really wrong headed. People are going to do bad bad things that will kill a lot of other people. Nothing we can do to stop it. The best thing we can do is recognize that it happens and not point fingers in the wrong places and make poor decisions (lol bushadministrationaments) using these horrible yet mostly random events as justification.
