The problem is the money you have to pay a #5, plus the fact that nobody thinks he (or Thomas, ftm) remotely is on Jonathan Ogden's level.

Speaking of which, nobody thinks Gaines or Branch are on Bruce Smith or Reggie White's level, do they? I'm not saying Thomas, Adams, Brown, & Branch will all be busts, but...

And Leinart is a lefty and we're still getting this "Left Tackle!" nonsense. Okoye should've been the pick, and you can either keep him, or trade down and still get Brown plus a 4th rounder maybe, and save 5-10 million.

I don't mind the Levi pick, it's a little bit of a stretch, but they got really screwed. I don't think many teams were interested in moving up to 5, and if they didn't get Brown the other decent lineman like Staley would have been gone by the time their next pick comes up

I saw Landry take a lot of plays off and play very poorly at times this year. I don't think he is very overrated, but he is a bit.
