LBJ and Jho for sure, but i think *even next year* ray allen/paul pierce > Roy, and Biedrins may be the best of all 4 of those.

Re: **Fantasy Basketball Advice Thread**
azubuike seems like the best of that bunch, no? The other guys are all stiffs in a 10 team league. (Hedo has some value)

Does Green or Acie Law have any real fantasy value this year? Would i be better off with Skip To My Lou over Acie for backup PG?

[/ QUOTE ] Ideally for your first string backup I'd prefer having someone a little more safe. How deep are you rosters? Green or Law make a good 3rd string guy that you stash away for potential upside late in the season. The Rockets brought in Mike James, Steve Francise, and drafted Aaron Brooks in the first round...does that really make you think they're confident with Alston at PG? With that said, he has performed pretty well this preseason and appears to have won the starting job. So I guess I'd go with Alston at this point in time unless you feel like taking a big risk. |

[/ QUOTE ] I think this depends a lot on where the playing time is going. Law has supposedly looked good. I think Rafer is probably better but may have less upside depending on Acie's role as PG. |

Re: **Fantasy Basketball Advice Thread**
Is the standard 3 guards, 3 forwards, 2 centers, and two utility spots the best way to go for a 10-12 team Weekly H2H league?
I was thinking a deeper league might be more fun, one that starts maybe 12 guys per week, but wasn't sure if it would throw off the balance of the league. Have any of you guys had success with a deeper league that starts more than 10 guys? And if so what is the best way to do it? Or is the standard 10 players start the best way to have a league? |
