chefs/cooks/kitchen people have been wearing them, or some form of them for years, they are great in the kitchen, otherwise I agree.

Wow, completely disagree. Crocs are essentially open-toed shoes with maybe 50% more coverage, which may be helpful against sharps but is not at all helpful in every other kitchen accident.

I can't help but imagine getting a bunch of hot oil or boiling water in all those lovely holes.

A true POT is the person in the left lane who stops their car in the middle of the street, lost and sitting there until they figure out where they need to go.

Because after all their time is much more important than anyone elses.

Nope, that's a douche. Also, how can you not see how NASCAR is associated with trashy people?

Grown men in pro sports jerseys. (cycling and soccer are exceptions)

WTF is with the exceptions? If you are going to hate on people supporting their teams, at least be consistent.

When working in a commercial kitchen, a coworker that was supposed to close instead got drunk and passed out on the 4th of July. I had to leave my own drunken state to clean the kitchen and ended up spilling fryer oil on my feet.

Yes, it hurts.

"going to Target"

This is the trash line to me.

I might wear comfortable crap at home or whatever, but when I leave the house, I pretty much insist on looking presentable by my standards, even if it's just Target.

Well for one, cycling jerseys are functional if you're cycling. I don't mind grown men in pro hockey jerseys if they're playing hockey. And soccer jerseys are an exception because they piss off many American sports fans (I don't follow soccer, but I support pissing off American sports fans).

I see it is associated but not that it should be at all.

There are trashy people who are fans of every sport. Now if you mean there's a higher % of trashy people that like NASCAR vs the NFL then I'd agree with you.
