According to poker tracker:
22= 0.43/ hand 33= (3.74)/ hand 44= 1.98 / hand I don't know what to think. |

The only situations I think are bad are if villain is open raising <15% of hands (very bad spot) or if hes open raising like 25%-40% and calling EVERY SINGLE TIME (minorly bad spot) BUT if he folds 10% of the time or more your way +EV against situation 2, I dont think Ive encountered a spot where Id fold 22 here in like 2k+ matches.

[ QUOTE ] I take it you guys do a hell of a lot more racing than I do. [/ QUOTE ] This kind of mentality is probably the biggest leak I see when the stacks get below 30bb. You have fold equity its not a race. [/ QUOTE ] I agree with this. If you shove you take the risk of being called by a hand that is ahead of you or racing you in exchange for fold equity (the chance you will take the pot without a race). If you call to avoid the chance of a race, you inherit the risk of seeing a bad flop (unless you hit a set there aren't many "good" flops) as well as the risk that if you end up folding you may not see a better spot to get it in. Shoving isn't really taking a bigger risk, it deciding to take the risk there instead of somewhere else. |

How big of a difference is there between shoving pf and just calling pf + c/r'ing a safe flop? [/ QUOTE ] What's a safe flop against anybody that raises 33% of hands? You're committing way too much preflop and cwar pointed out in detail why shoving is clearly profitable here. |

I'm sure this has been discussed a million times but this forum seems to have much more husng players compared to us hucash boys. I'm talking about nl here btw. Could you guys please explain why you choose husng over cash? Maybe i'm stupid but i cant seem to see the upside of it. I'm not taking a stab at any of you just genuinely curious.
-You can't game select (unless you the one joining a game) -You cant really build an image for yourself and profit off of it in the same sng i would think -The blinds increase, which i'd imagine decreases your edge. These are some of the biggest cons for me just off the top of my head. Is it the rake at small stakes hucash that pushes you towards husng's? (if its even less than what sng's are) |

Small bankroll, less variance. You can game select in husngs once you get to levels where you actually encounter good players.

No 20 buyin downswings FTW!

The increase in blinds isn't necessarily a disadvantage. A good player can adapt to the blind changes and stack sizes much better than a poor player can, so it is possible for the changes to actually add to your edge.
