This might be the worst defense this team has had in the 33 years I have watched them. It is unfathomable to me how the other team repeatedly has receivers wide open almost every play. I killed the scheme with Tim Lewis, but with a new D coach it's the same thing. Is the personnel really that bad?

The secondary is horrid and no one can tackle.

Another huge problem is the penalties. Both Toomer and Shockey made very costly and uneccesary ones in the red zone. The thing about it is that this was a problem with Fassel, and it hasn't let up any with Coughlin. They should fire him now.

hmmm .. both toomer and shockey played lots of games under fassel - somehow i'm detecting a pattern

and that is that the GMs of this team have been garbage

and yes niss, the personnel is that bad

Toomer is never like that, not exactly sure what got him riled up. Shockey is useless, his blocking has gotten better but I'd rather have Shiancoe's hands. And that's sad.

Based on mainly the stuff that's supposedly in Ernie's forthcoming book, I think it's time to start the Parcells watch. And if that means that this POS GM who did nothing to improve this team in the offseason goes too in order to bring the Tuna back for a final go around, good riddance.

the giants are fairly hamstrung by the salary cap, plus i think an all-out purge makes sense. not saying this gm is good or bad, but i'm sure accorsi isn't great.

and parcells is finished and i don't want him back. You never know when he's inevitably going to quit on the team and retire/leave.

It would be nice to have such a choice.
