can any of u play ~75k hands/month?

i wanna teach and back someone for around 500k hands

[/ QUOTE ]

Tufat, I only play 50k hands a month at 50NL, but would be happy to pass on all profits above $3,000 at whatever level we're at until we're square. So, all profits above 5ptbb/100 at 50NL etc...

Fwiw, I've played as many hands at 50NL as anyone on this board. I don't go in for FPS, I never tilt, and have decent fundamantals.

If you want to turn an unimaginative grinder into a poker player, I'm your man. I've watched your CR vids and understand the hard work ahead.

can anyone explain how the iron man challenge works so a guy like myself can understand it aswell?

[/ QUOTE ]
First of all you have to opt in to be available for the promo each month (click on cashier, my promotions)

You can earn one of four levels each month and if you get to that level you earn medals that can be redeemed:
Bronze - 25 medals
Silver - 40 medals
Gold - 70 medals
Iron - 100 medals

Conservative estimates (more like 1600/800 iirc):
@25NL 2k hands = 200 points
@50NL 1k hands = 200 points

To reach the levels you need:
Bronze
- 15 days were you earn 100 points or
- 20 days were you earn 50 points
Silver
- 15 days /200 points or
- 20 days /100 points or
- 25 days /50 points
Gold -
- 20 days / 200 points
- 25 days / 100 points
Iron
- 25 days / 200 points

If you have reached a level the amount of medals increases in the next month. If you fail to qualify in any month you drop back to the beginning.

A 75$ token in the shop costs 400 medals so 100 medals are worth 18.75$
If you play 50 NL, you need 25 days @ 1k hands to reach Iron Man status and thus 100 medals. That means you played 25k hands.
18.75$ = 37.5 BB; 36.5/250 = 0.15BB so with Iron Man you add 0.075PTBB/100 to your winrate.

If you qualify for any level you will either get an additional 100 medals or an entry into a freeroll.
Which freeroll you enter depends on the level you reached.
Bronze - 10k
Silver - 15k
Gold - 20k
Iron - 30k
IIrc the freerolls have about 300-500 runners so conservatively 30k/500 = 60$ equity in the Iron tourney which is more than the 18.75 for the 100 medals but you have to invest the time to play the tourney.
If you win the tourney you play a 4 man shootout vs the other winners for an additional 5k and the winner gets to play some FTP pros for additional $.
See:
Iron Man

Recently added:
You can get bonus medals if you exceed the 200 points per day (see url above for details)
If you earn one point per day, you qualify for a 2k freeroll

That should be all.

Oh yeah and just for the heck of it the maximum you can earn in the first month is:
100 medals from Iron man
100 bonus medals instead of freeroll
15 bonus medals for 1 point a day
30x20=600 medals for 2k points a day
= 815 = 152.8$
(but that's playing for 2k points a day aka 10k hands a day )
