[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]BB, I hope he writes an autobiography when he's all done.

I was a little dissapointed in Rodney's play yesterday, but then again he was up against such a great passing O, so I dunno. He almost murdered Witten on one play when Romo overthrew him near the sidelines. That was pretty

We’ve been burned by a few of them, including Gates, Witten, Winslow....

[/ QUOTE ]

These three are the top three receiving tight ends in the NFL. Gates is 4th overall, Winslow is 6th overall, and Witten is 10th overall. Those aren't bums getting yardage on the Pats.

True, but this is the biggest problem the Patriots have.

Meh, I didn't think Belicheck was really running up the score. I mean, they had to "try" for the first down on 3rd and 10. Was Dallas just going to kneel if the Pats had punted? And they gave the ball to their 8th running back to get him his first TD. I didn't think it was that big of a deal.

Hopefully Maroney and/or Morris will be back next week. We had to play the whole 2nd half with only Kevin Faulk, which hurt.

[/ QUOTE ]

Meh, Faulk totaled 50 for 13 attempts whereas Morris totalled 14 for 10 attempts. Obviously this is just half a game, but Faulk's performance was far from bad imo.

good news today from Len P:

The league's highest paid player in 2006, and universally regarded as one of its premier defensive linemen, Seymour almost certainly will be back for the Patriots before the end of the year. There were rumors that Seymour, who suffered complications from offseason knee surgery, would miss all of 2007. But the Pro Bowl lineman has made steady progress in his rehabilitation and, while New England coach Bill Belichick said there is no news yet on any of the team's four PUP players, Seymour will be back for the stretch run.

Do we need a thread? I think we should all just sit back, relax, and watch.

Yawn, pre-season football.
