any skiers/snowboarders interested in getting a place somewhere in europe for the ski season this year? I'm thinking something that you can ski in/out and that has a decent nightlife.

edit: sick snow/terrain is a must. good terrain park a plus.

why would you prefer europe over us/canadian mountains? we had hardly any good snow (powder...) last season in austria.

canada is out because if i go there then im responsible for taxes imo, despite what everyone says about gambling winnings not being taxable, and if they arent, it's still a huge grey area which could change at any time. I'd rather just take the non-resident status and not worry about it.

I don't really think this is a legitimate concern, as you're only gonna be there for the ski season and the chances that something is gonna change within that time to make the situation clear-cut are very very low. I had a great time skiing in the Czech Republic myself, and up until now I've only heard good things about Austria.. so I'm not sure about that. Canada should be great, though.
