I thought the tables were supposed to be softer on the weekends? I cant get value from anything

[/ QUOTE ]

I got owned today, lost 400$ in 500 hands.

July :
running 1.73 ptbb/100 at 200NL
running 8ptbb/100 at 100NL

[/ QUOTE ]

1.73 at 200 is like 3.46 at 100 ... not awesome, but could be worse .... and then there is rb

[/ QUOTE ]

I want to be fearless at 200NL like I am at 100NL, but cant to the tetris trick and play 400NL for that to happen.

The worst is that I dont feel 200NL is really tougher than 100NL but I just play so differently when I compare both levels. I never encountered that going from 25,50 or 100...

Well I have a lot of experience in this, and after the last couple of months, I must admit, that the best route is to stop forcing it.

100NL is actually very good money, so just build a 8K-10K roll, so there is no pressure and then move up, I will only take 4-8 weeks anyway

What do you mean by start acting like a spoiled kid

[/ QUOTE ]

Well tbh, you know when you sometimes are out shopping and you see some little brat pointing at some toy or chocolate or whatever ..... Mom says no ... so kid goes into a frenzy of screaming, crying, stomping and hitting etc

That is the image I always get, when I read a ZOMG they sucked out on me, better start tilting posts (or similar)

[/ QUOTE ]

lmao yea yea i know I don't know what got into me. I just need to constantly be on my A game, and make the +EV decisions damnit i let tilt get the best of me. Nothing I can do now, my roll is only as big as it is at this point. I have $1650 which is a great 50NL roll, just start grinding it back up, and work from there.

Actually, but this is again just a Gelford'ism ... but imo, the key to succes is not constantly being on your A-game. Nobody can do that 24/7.

I'm my experience the key is to know when you are not on your A-game and adjust. The most common ways that I adjust is by playing a simpler game and also often moving down (to 50NL for example(

Sometime you play so bad - be it tilt or tiredness - that stopping is the best option.

But no, do not chase that elusive A-game, but instead just take precautions, when it is not there and work yourself slowly back into the game.

Thank you gel for your words of wisdom they are very much appreciated. I agree with what you are saying. I think that I just need to be able to detach myself emotionally from the game, and really just focus on making good decisions, and not tilting.

I have $1650 which is a great roll for 50NL, I will start playing again on tuesday. In the meantime im going to study and reflect.
