Let's not confused "gay" with "sensitive," or any other common euphemism for men who aren't interested in women. Give straight women enough credit for knowing the difference, even if they don't always get it.

My only point was don't be afraid of turning her off by disagreeing as long as you have a solid basis for your beliefs and don't call her a dumb skank for disagreeing with you. Sometimes women throw little probing statements out there to see if you'll lie about agreeing with them.

It's really bad if she check-raises the turn, though. I would suspect she's already got a full house at that point and is desperately trying to get you to pay it off before you can get away.

Lol, I have no idea wtf you're talking about but that poker analogy is awesome!

Let me put it this way...let's say a girl has met some guy for 10-20 minutes and her girl friend asks her about him. "He's sorta creepy" is probably the worst response possible. "He seems like he may be gay" is totally fine if you're capturing women's attention without telegraphing any sexual interest or neediness. This is exactly what you want to begin with so that when you do add an element of sexual interest, you can actually convince her she's done something actually worthwhile to earn it.

I guess I just want to make it clear that if a girl *seems* to think you may be gay (saying it to her friend, to you, to the bartender) all this really means is she's interested in you and your relationship status. She's surprised b/c you are cool and not sexually needy...and b/c the few guys she has met who are like this have been gay, she wouldn't be surprised if you are.
