Ray,

One time about ten years when I was starting my first company, I had Boston Chicken rotisserie chicken for Thanksgiving dinner. It was pretty damn good. As for frozen dinners, some Trader Joe's microwaved entrees are really good.

As for Brandi's Thanksgiving, her meal can't have been as good as a good Thanksgiving dinner including a well-brined or deep-fried turkey, but compared to either a very dry turkey or a tofu turkey (a lot of people in the burning man crowd love that crap), her microwave dinner may well have been the tastier option.

El Diablo,
How long does it take you to fry a turkey? I have also heard that turkey-fryers are extremely dangerous. Confirm/Deny?

Ugh, i read up to like page 40 or something. I feel bad for all parties involved, especially mark and brandi. I hope Mark doesn't let himself get bitter from this experience and that brandi opens her eyes and realizes she is in serious need of some help.

On a side note: Bluffthis and oski need some quality time alone thinking about their moral compass, not to mention, bluffthis' social skills.

I saw the cool dude from good eats fry a turkey. The danger comes from store bought turkeys being frozen. So after they are thawed they can still have pockets of water logged wherever, and when you place the turkey into the fryer, you can cause a mini Hiroshima, but with fryer grease instead of whatever nuclear bombs consists of. Also a lot of times people will not compensate for the displacement of liquid that occurs after lowering the turkey into the fryer. So you get super hot grease all over your floor or lawn or whatever.

I concede on the social skills. However YOU need some quality time alone thinking about how not to be a SUCKER and buy the cons, both monetary and verbal, of hustlers. Unless of course you hate money or are deficient in intellect/lazy in its application, in which case it's all good for you I guess (oops - bad social skills manifesting themselves again).
