I've never understood deciding to leave a pitcher in, but then pulling him (pitch count notwithstanding) after he pitches well but gets unlucky. Unless he's mentally/emotionally unstable, which Wake is not.

[/ QUOTE ]

Because if Wake gives up another unlucky hit, the media will slam them the next day. There's no doubt in mind sticking with Wake there was the right move.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree. I think that batters are so happy to get rid of a knuckleballer and are happy to see a 'normal' pitcher.

Would be interesting to see statistics on how well batters do after Wakefield is pulled in general.

[/ QUOTE ]

Watching these Indians players the past few years, It has always seemed like the Indians preferred the fireballer pitcher to the slow junk stuff.

hollywade doesnt seem like he would really up $1k if he loses, if he wants to bail then you can get in.

i'm going to sleep since i think the game is over imo, if wade bails, i'm in 10:1 for the record, my stars name is icehawk406 and i can easily cover the 1K if i lose...lol, as i say this, the sox score

edit: i'm assuming wade makes the decision soon, i don't wanna see the sox score like 5 runs and then he bails
