a) Their "rakeback" wasn't necessarily NOT taxed, but rather tax wasn't withheld -- they still may have been responsible to pay it.

b) Ask your CPA about your state / circumstances for what you should do... his advice is best.

When you are planning to be in Vegas, drop me a PM. I'll shoot out there and meet up with you and surf.

I need that since no one was around to warn me about my purchase of "premium fuel only" car last year.
Damn.

yeah what is the going rate for a yellow chip prop

[/ QUOTE ]

maybe $15/hr

[/ QUOTE ]

Most props only play limit, and in LA yellow chip is usually up to 20/40 (maybe 25/50 at Hustler, although I'm not sure they use props in that game). Anyway, typical prop pay for this limit will be in the $25 to $27 per hour range (this may be paid salary, more often it is a lessor hourly with some sort of collection back scheme).

I worked with one prop who lost $300K to collect her 50K pay within a year.

The Normandie Casino is looking for 20/40 props and is offering $25/hr.

If you're thinking of the same ones I'm thinking of I would have guessed it was more in the range of $100-$200K for the others
