I get the 23% from because it's half of 46%. 46% is the chance of the ace of spades being suited. We halve those odds because we don't know which 2 of the 4 aces he has, so it's 50/50 whether it's out there or not.

I'm guessing that doesn't take into account that we already know where four of the spades are. The math I just did shows pretty clearly that the probability's 18%.

Then it doesn't take into account that after the two aces, there are only two cards left in villain's hand. Did you remember that he can't have two aces of spades?

I was factoring in the other player as well sorry. I had jumped ahead from the notes I wrote on some paper.

Won the biggest pot of my life last night. 4156 dollars in 3/6 game. It was pretty sweet, I had QQ and two hearts on a Q103 board with two clubs and one heart. Got 3 and a half buy-ins in versus J1097 with two clubs. Board went red eight (making him the straight) and then red six. I thought I had lost before realizing I had made the backdoor flush. Bettin over 2000 bucks with an eight percent edge makes for good times.

Yeah, I get some massive pots daily at 2/4 and 3/6, even full ring stuff.
