Oh and regarding the A-5 Limp/RR A-I:

He's representing a hand there that is going to have A-T at best drawing to one live card.

I don't mind that play, as his fold equity should be pretty high there. What i don't like is that call with AT.... what could he be possibly beating there except the limp reraise bluff?

[/ QUOTE ]

But why pull that move at all unless you have a very specific read? Which he didn't apparently. Either Villain was a donk (who is obviously going to call) or he's extremely good and DA got outplayed. In any case, it's just a crappy spot in a whole bunch of ways.

Yeah, I think Farry is the only one with a chance to catch Khan in the douche-off. But time is running out for him.

[/ QUOTE ]

Has he done anything himself? Or is it because he knocked out Ho and friends on the rail were drunk?

[/ QUOTE ]

He could have move away from Maria. I'm sure his drunken friends would have followed. It's amazing how this event can bring out the dumb in people.

Peter Darvill Eliminated in 31st Place ($285,678)

Peter Darvill opened up for a 180,000 raise from the button. Bill Edler re-raised from the small blind to 480,000. Darvill called. The flop was {5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}. Edler moved all in for 2,100,000. Darvill went into the tank. He turned to a friend on the rail ad said, "Got my bag there? Get the bobble head out."

Darvill's friend handed him a Phil Hellmuth bobble head doll and he put it in front of Elder.

"Look him up and down for me Phil," Darvill joked.

Darvill made the call with {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. Edler flipped over {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Darvill was ahead. The turn was the {A-Diamonds} and the river was the {9-Clubs}. Edler took down the pot with a pair of nines and Darvill was eliminated.

Featured Table - Jason Koshi Eliminated in 30th Place ($285,678)

On the Featured Table, Kenny Tran raises from late position to 175,000, Jason Koshi moves all in from the button for 945,000, and Tran quickly but casually calls with {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}. Koshi shows {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and he needs to improve to stay alive.

The flop comes {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, and Tran retains a big lead with his pocket aces. Koshi needs something runner-runner to survive.

The turn card is the {2-Spades}, and Koshi is drawing dead. (The meaningless river card is the {6-Diamonds}.) Kenny Tran wins the pot with a pair of aces.

Jason Koshi is eliminated in 30th place, earning $285,678.

Pokerpages at 1:22:

Scotty Nguyen raised to 120K and got called only by John Armbrust in the big blind. Both players checked the J 6 9 flop. On the T turn, Armbrust checked and Scotty fired out 375K. "The only way you win, you have to raise it," taunted Scotty to his foe. Armbrust smiled and folded. Scotty shook his head in mock distress and showed the table his K Q for the stone nuts.

On the following hand at that table, Raymond Rahme raised to 300K and Scott Freeman, in the big blind, jacked it up to 900K. Rahme did some acting and finally announced that he was all-in for 2.58M. Freeman ignored the bad acting job and called with his K K. Rahme, of course, had A A. The board dropped 9 J 3 T 3 and Rahme doubled up to more than five million. "I almost made a move with seven-deuce!" said Scotty Nguyen, after the hand.

Ppl are not used to playing this deep and think that they have less play than they actually do, hence the constant commitment of stacks w/ 2-card hands.

Sad really, but there is precedent ('06 WSOP)
