had As8s in BB, defended. - hit 8 on flop which was top pair, 2 diamond flop; check flop intending to check-raise. other player pushes with 3x3d. I call. runner-runner diamonds. if I won hand, I'd have 400k in chips, be in 4th place w/50 left in $10r $55k

is it just me or does every monkey with a big stack in tournaments these days try to play 'big stack poker' regardless of table dynamic and mess it up horribly?
