Steve Smith, Harrison, Holt, and TO were all gone by my pick in the 3rd. Wayne, Fitz, and Boldin were probably the next three highest rated receivers left after I took Chad.

I think I can live with only 13 games from DJax, I feel like platooning he and Coles in the third slot should be ok. You are right, it's not a PPR league. Receivers taken between when I got McNabb and when I selected DJax were Andre Johnson, Driver (only guys I really seriously considered taking there), Plax, Ward, Santana Moss, Calvin Johnson, Branch, Braylon Edwards, and Reggie Brown. I was targeting Brown in the 7th round, but he got picked right before me, so I had to settle with DJax. Berrian, Cotchery, and Devery Henderson were taken not too long after I took DJax.

I was completely unaware about another surgery for Winslow, so [censored]. At least I found out before I drafted for any $ leagues.

As far as the McNabb/Cutler situation goes, I probably made a mistake not taking Kitna. If McNabb doesn't pan out I'll be working with Cutler/(Smith, Schaub, Green, Cambell, Garcia) With my running back depth I should be able to swing a trade though

I would of taken Wayne over Johnson. I am not big on CJ this year, I have him out of the top 10. Other than that, taking Driver over McNabb would of been huge for you. You then could have Johnson, Evans, Driver at WR and Kitna at QB. I like that better then having a platoon at your 3WR and McNabb at QB, especially since I have Kitna > McNabb.

Why would you be down on CJ this year? His QB should actually be healthy again which I believe was his biggest problem at the beginning of the year last year, they have another year together under their belt and they don't have Henry to steal touchdowns from him.

I think with the main red zone target gone in Henry, Housh is going to get those looks more often then CJ.

I also had a draft today, but IMO not as good as his. Still a pretty decent draft. Standard Yahoo! league, I had first overall pick.1.

(1) LaDainian Tomlinson RB
2. (20) Chad Johnson WR
3. (21) Marvin Harrison WR
4. (40) Thomas Jones RB
5. (41) Donovan McNabb QB
6. (60) Donte' Stallworth WR
7. (61) Carnell Williams RB
8. (80) Vincent Jackson WR
9. (81) Jay Cutler QB
10. (100) Randy McMichael TE
11. (101) Denver DEF
12. (120) LenDale White RB
13. (121) Anthony Gonzalez WR
14. (140) Reuben Droughns RB
15. (141) Mike Nugent K

I feel I had a very strong draft going to round 7, where I might of botched it with the Carnell pick. I was running out of time, and figured that stocking up on RB's was clearly the better choice, and took him with my gut. Might of took VJack a little early, and Cutler was a bit of a reach maybe (but having him as a backup is nice). I feel my Lendale/Gonzalaz picks were very strong, and that Droughns in the 14th was great, with the chances of him starting. Overall, I'm happy with my draft, but I know I could of had a stronger one.

EDIT: A tough spot for me was in 11th round. I really am sold on Denver's defense (maybe that was bad for me, with my BYE weeks being somewhat cluttered) or Brandon Jackson. I went with my feeling on Denver's D rocking this year, so I took them. The next pick was Jackson. Should I of taken Jackson, or was my running game strong enough that investing in Denver was good?

So if CJ wasn't the main red zone target, his red zone looks won't increase at all? Assuming CJ wasn't targeted in the red zone because of Henry, he's going to be less productive with henry gone?

This is pretty solid, but I would have looked for more backs. Don't much like the Cutler pick with McNabb on board.
