911 St Louis Cardinals +158
926 Tampa Bay Devil Rays +120

I must be losing it. Where did you guys get +158 and +120. Best I could find was +155 and +117. I guess it's because I have no cash in WSEX or BetJam at the moment?

STL +158 at wsex, TB +120 at mansion

wsex changed the odds to STL +155 a while ago, which is the odds available at most books now.

i like ALL of your picks EXCEPT

tampa and baltimore future bets

3 teams would have to completely underachieve (3 teams in the same division) it just seems impossible

can you explain those bets more

[/ QUOTE ]

in short, you wouldn't have liked detroit bets last year, eh? Also, at least in TB's case, there's substantial upside potential. Everyone except zobrist at ss and whoever they start at first has pretty large upside.

didn't have reliable internet for a week.... detroit didn't have anywhere close to the division competition... plus they had good young pitching including a bullpenn... theres just no chance of the devil rays winning the division

orioles i GUESS you can stretch a tigers comparison out of it

i hate to stretch out an argument i can't win, but:

twins/white sox/indians wins last year: 96/90/78
yankees/red sox/blue jays projected wins this year: 93/91/80

what am i missing?

alright to make this argument more smoothe i will debate only the point i feel strongest about

tampa bay has nowhere close to the pitching that a team like the tigers had... especially in the bullpen

AL east other 4 teams are much stronger offensively than the twins whitesox indians and ROYALS... they don't have enough guys to pitch enough innings effectiveley to even have a chance in contending

i really like all your picks, but tampa bay just seems absurd

detroit didn't have the hitting tb can have, and dealing one of the extra of's can get you plenty of pitching

onlinebeginner,

Maybe I'm not following but how are the other 4 teams in the AL East "much stronger" than the indians and twins.

OFFENSIVELY
this years
ORIOLES
YANKEES
REDSOX
BLUEJAYS

vs.
Last years
Royals
Twins
Indians
Whitesox

the first four teams are clearly much better hitting teams than the other 5
