im american, but i went lived in the UK last year for school. i definitely noticed a difference in teeth quality once i got to the UK. seems like a lot of brits have some crooked ass teeth.

while i was there i heard that in the UK they dont put flouride in the tap water.

Mass medication is illegal here - hence no flouride in tap water, or so I've been told. Also, flouride has nothing to do with crooked teeth unless I'm mistaken.

yeah im dumb, i realized after i posted that flouride does not straighten your teeth. does it strengthen teeth? eh whatever

but i honestly could tell a difference between the US/UK in the number of people with "bad" teeth. all my american counterparts agreed

then again i was in Hull. the bad teeth i saw were probably a result of all the inbreeding going on

The USA is a country driven by popular media and TV.

people on TV look good - so more people in the US care about looking good more than people in the UK who by and large watch less and care less about TV (tho that is changing)

also depending on which set of scientists you believe flouride has no benefit whatsover to teeth and actually causes lethargy and depression and couch potatoeness, the Germans used flouride in the water they gave to POW's to keep them more docile IIRC.

I probably have about the worst teeth on 2p2 so fit nicely into your Brit stereotype thingy - tho I am doing a John Frusciante in the next 6 months and getting lots of implants.
