women dont really chase me around, and certainly don't treat me like a king. and i am definitely not 'bribing' anyone or 'paying' even on the loosest of terms (i.e. always paying for dinner). i don't really know where you have gotten this impression and your post is really weird, disjointed, and lacking any real point. i can only wonder what you were like before becoming a master pua.

I find it very amusing that in a forum devoted to changing yourself and learning skills to intentionally exploit others while actively trying to look as though you are not doing so there is criticism of PUA.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think the entire mindset that makes this seem like a good analogy is what a lot of people respond negatively to.

also,

im not really hating on all of the pua stuff, especially because i am not terribly familiar with it.

if it helps guys learn to be better in social situations, then that is great. if it helps them flirt better with women, fantastic. if it helps guys who are decent close better, good for them.

but you shouldn't be so quick to defend against those who think "pua" in some senses is pretty douche-laden.

[/ QUOTE ]

Do you think that when females go out to clubs and bars and shake their asses knowing full well guys are going to come over and offer them free money (drinks) in the hopes that they will eventually get some...and they accept the drink even though they have already made up their mind they are not going to give it up...do you think that is 'douche-laden'?

Do you think it is douche-laden for women to manipulate men who are strangers to them into doing things for them by dangling their sexuality as an enticing incentive even though they know full well they are not going to deliver?

Just curious on your take on this.

i think you are focused entirely too much on the money concept. is this a general pua concept, or something you personally feel strongly about?

*edit* to clarify, i have never felt any qualms about buying a girl a drink.

Well if they do not respond negatively to it (or worse glorify it) in the poker world but look down on it in the PU world makes them something of a hyppocrite doesn't it?

bk,

You + are = you're. Sorry to be a nit, but you wrote "your" incorrectly about 10 times in your post.

If I'm playing football with somebody and they tackle me, I'm going to have a pretty different response to that than if they just drop me on the street. I guess that makes me a hypocrite! EDIT: Seriously, it is bizarre to me that you appear to think this way.

While it may not be true of you, a common initiating of dating the man offers bribes for the women to spend time with him (invites to dinner, buy a drink, etc).

If you've got a solid enough pair to approach a women, not buy her a drink, and when you invite her out to the first 4-5 'dates' you let them know that it will be dutch then I respect everything you say.

If your bribing women with money or goods such as drinks and dinner in order for her to spend time with you while she decides if she is going to give you sex, it makes you a chump in my book.

Maybe your unfamiliar with the term dating 'game' and the dynamics involved.

If you glorify fleecing a fish at the poker table I would not equate that with charging at someone on the street and ripping his wallet from his pocket.

- the guy from MN really does look gay right off the bat, rofl

He wore really tight clothes and then a speedo while swimming, and then he turns around and complains about being mistaken for a gay guy.
