i like the stop and go shove w/ 33. You are still deep. If the flop si something like AQ7 you are out 90 chips and on to the mext hand.

Insta shove against 99% of villains, I would fold if I didnt shove calling is bad IMO.

[/ QUOTE ] Your calling 120, this is not a good spot for a stop and go, HU SNGs in general are bad spots for stop and gos its a very MTT move and this is certainly not a good spot. A better idea would be to go and go but Id rather push with this type of hand. |

Re: ***** November LC Thread *****
Hmmm, interesting. Often I would shove the 33; I get the feeling I look at hands a little different here than I do when I am playing. I am still unsure about pushing here though. I've found myself racing a ton these days and I don't like it. I understand $/hr is bigger than ROI or win rate, but racing bad players seems counter-intuitive.

I take it you guys do a hell of a lot more racing than I do.

Re: ***** November LC Thread *****
How big of a difference is there between shoving pf and just calling pf + c/r'ing a safe flop?

Re: ***** November LC Thread *****
Definitely re-thinking, cwar.
btw, congrats on whatever you are doing with leggo poker. Anyone like this race, since we are on the subject? Second hand, first hand, villain folds. PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (2 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Hero (t1520) Button (t1480) Preflop: Hero is BB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I still don't know if this is right or not. |

Re: ***** November LC Thread *****
Wow, I really screwed this up. I looked over the HH, and he was actually raising >50% of hands on the button.
So now it's an easy shove, right? |

Re: ***** November LC Thread *****
Is there a point where you stop shoving because you almost certainly don't have any fold equity?
Or at that point are you just happy to take the race? I don't feel like there's much about my game that could be said to be playing "scared", but I know I play 22, 33, and 44 extraordinarily poorly. For example, you have pocket 2s or 3s on the button with effective stacks of about 15 BBs. You raise 2.5x, and get repopped for half your chips. Is there any reason to shove there, or is that an easy dump, even though you've put in about 15% of your stack? |
