Re: Friday Night Lights Season 2
while i think this weeks ep was mainly a filler, it sure has me excited abt next week and football with taylor (which im sure they will put some focus on next week).
did anyone else think the whole 'we said it was a done deal but now he's suing' thing was kinda pointless? i mean he ends up leaving anyway, so whats the point? the animosity could already be planted between the two coachs. meh. also, did anyone else think, when they saw the good-looking prisoner, 'i wonder where this is going?'. |

Re: Friday Night Lights Season 2
The point is not that high schools can't fire their coach it's just that they don't and they just kind of seemed to put the lawsuit against the board in there and then just ended that sub-plot abruptly . . . Buddy Garrity's speech in the board meeting kind of lame / unconvincing - he was talking about "Dillon Tradition" or whatever - it didn't seem that convincing coming from his character . . .
Regarding the "I have a family too coach" quote - it was very poignant. |

[/ QUOTE ] I was for sure Buddy was going to get caught in the winning season argument since they didn't give McGregor a full season. |
