I'm all up for sending donks to the PCA, but no donk will every qualify through the steps.

I think they should stop the direct buyin to level 6.

I'm sure the reason that places 4 - 18 in step 6 are "goodbye" is because these steps are specifically for the PCA. They have to end.

So the 'exit strategy' is probably going to be to stop giving lower-level tickets as prizes at some point.

So, for example, starting on December 15th, step one will pay two seats to step two, $7.50 cash for 3rd, and $1.50 for 4th.

Give everybody a chance to use their step 1 tickets, and then on December 20th, there will be no more step 1 tourneys, and they change the payout of step two so that it only awards step 3 tickets, cash for lower places.

But since they have to stop the steps at some point, it's only logical that step 6 avoids the loop.

Why would they need to stop the STEPs?

I think Bryan has already said that the STEP system will remain for other 12K events including the WSOP etc.

The only problem is during the short gaps between 12K events....and in terms of LEVELS 1-4, the solution is simple.

STEP 4 = $215

When the PCA ends or even while it is going on...allow all STEP 4 tickets to be used as a direct buy-in to the Sunday Millions/2nd Chance/$215+R etc. Then STEPs 1-4 can run non stop year round and you can have STEP 5 and 6 when there are 12K events available...or you can have a special STEP 5 when the $530 and $1050 run at the end of the month. Also could be used for the high buy-ins during WCOOP.

ARGH. My god I'm running bad in these things!

The donkish play is astounding in the first 2 levels.. People open shoving full stacks with Q7 suited etc...of course they suck out to win, but that's not the point is it!

argh, frustrating!!!!

$33r. I still think the best route is to play the sats to the $650 and then play the $650s they are your best chance to quailfy.

A lot of people don't like the 33r because it only pays one seat which can bring a lot of variance in.
