no it isn't, traffic on staten island usually makes GWB faster

of course the cross bronx sucks too, but at least there are things you can do about it, like harlem river drive to triborough to bruckner to throgs neck

but u should take lincoln tunnel to midtown tunnel anyway if ur picking horn up. if ur ambitious and want to save a toll u can take 59th street bridge but thats a bit more complicated. where is horn?

When I lived in SI, traffic was only during certain hours. Now it's there almost 24/7 on the SI expressway...unreal.

Regardless of picking Horn up or not, I think cutting through midtown is best at that time. Closer to rush hour, the GWB might be better ('cause going north in NJ isn't that bad).
