Yeah, I originally thought the Brew Crew had nothing to play for but they did. At least, they still do, as long as they keep winning.

The Rockies top 6 in the order (Matsui, Tulowitzki, Holliday, Helton, Hawpe, Atkins) is as good an offensive 6 as any in the league IMO.

Those fans from outside Colorado or markets like it have no idea how cool it is to read people thinking that parts of their team is as good as you can find in the league.

What a neat feeling.

This 4-run lead needs to increase or stick, I don't want to use Corpas/Fuentes tonight

Good grief, I've got to go to sleep but this espn gamecast is horrendously slow.

Hopefully I wake up a completed sweep!

So we're down 2.. sweep to win.

Rockies controlling own destiny... what a crazy feeling.

LOL! JAMONE ROCKS, JAMONE! FRANCIS V. WEBB TONIGHT!

God damn, this is way too tight for my liking. So many scenarios in which we could tie/beat Phils/Mets/Pads/Dbacks. But losing is NOT an option! esp. after this run

Not completely. Still a game back on the Pads, and tied with the Mets/Phillies in the WC. Granted one of those two will win the division which means they would both have to sweep to force a tiebreak. Actually, then they would play the loser of Mets/Phillies and control their destiny in a tiebreak, so you are correct to a point.

Nit (lol)

If the Rockies sweep, they are about 98% assured of a playoff spot

They'd need either Philadelphia or New York to lose just one game and we'd clinch a spot
