Yeah I know foie gras is outlawed in a lot of places. Probably thought about it and not caviar, you're right. I love it though that's one good thing about living in France, heh [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
Maybe it's just strictly regulated or something at least I remember from a documentary about caviar in Russia that there were some issues with free trade of caviar in the US and Germany.

pretty much confirms my suspicions that this scoring method doesnt allow you to have even one bad week. im basically out of it now... only the top 12 have a chance still? sweet.

jjp could clearly have a bad week and still be in the mix. Four of five definitely need to be good though.

Do you think you should still be "right there" after an 18th and a 43rd?

What a wild ride. A few random comments...

Stanford is obvious. MIT has another strike against in a sheep game, that it's in the Northeast, right next door to a bunch of Ivy schools, so even though it isn't Ivy itself, it's associated in some people's minds with it.

I didn't know who Kevin Bacon even WAS, and had to web-search the list of movies he was in... of which Apollo 13 was the only one that I had both seen myself and knew others had seen/enjoyed. Never even heard of half the responses.

The lobster question is kinda funny. I've never tasted lobster in my life, and since I don't like crab or shrimp I probably never will. What it has going for it is a reputation for being fancy and expensive but widely available. Caviar is fancy and expensive, but not on the menu in your average seafood restaurant in the US - and friends who have tasted it all found it disgusting...hehe. (It is legal here. Sturgeon are endangered, however, so caviar is not *made* much in the US like it was 100 years ago.) The "right" answer should have been some tasty kind of fish - but there are too many kinds of fish for one to be a good sheep answer (and some are hard to classify: salmon are tasty, and live most their lives in the ocean, but people fish for them in rivers, not just the ocean, so they might not be called "seafood".)

And who was it who put Denali down as a volcano? It isn't. You could have at least put Pavlof, the Alaskan volcano that is currently erupting. Geez.

no, of course not "right there". but i also dont expect to be out of it. and for the record, were no bonus points awarded during the season, i would have been third overall. so yeah, im kinda disappointed in all this..
