wait a minute. I heard she wasn't eating. Isn't that what it was? Maybe it was fear of staph infection or something.

Nope, word is her medical condition was purely psychological and that she was at risk of having a nervous breakdown. Psychiatrist Charles Sophy visited Hilton in jail yesterday and the day before.

Here's one that might interest you. I was listening to an interview with the author today. She seemed really bright and articulate. She used to work for People magazine and partied it up with celebrities and the young Hollywood crowd before she went on the wagon. She has a lot of insight into their strange world. You might find it interesting.

Wow, she was upset at being in jail? I bet that's never happened to anyone before, especially a poor person.

Musta been real hard to find a doctor to vouch for that condition.

Have a good weekend everyone, I'll be traveling and likely won't be around until Sunday night.

Beaches and Sunsets my ass.

Had a little tornado go through today. I was downstairs about to watch The Marriage of Maria Braun (actually I was about 10 minutes in) when I heard some door crashing upstairs and the gf yelling. I got to the backdoor and there was a full storm happening. It was so hot and sunny earlier that I had watered the garden less than an hour before. While I was standing there a 90' maple at the back of our lot crashed down towards the garage. It took 2 more trees about the same size with it. They were in the empty lot that borders our backyard on that side. The front yard on that side borders a 3rd yard which is the corner lot. The 3 trees crushed a small shed in that yard. Here are some pics:

Here's 2 more. One shot of 2 of the trees. Our's on the left and from empty lot on right. The 3rd tree is underneath these two.

The other pic should be for the gardening thread but it is storm related as well. Half my potatoes got flattened from wind and rain. I hilled them up again as best I could.
