Attainable winrates from $25-$200nl 12 tabling, and what how would your vpip/prf change as you move up?

Thx

[/ QUOTE ]

at 50nl (where i put i the bulk of my hands 12tabling), 5PTbb/100 is very attainable for a good player.

i run at 12/7/4 (attmpt2steal around 22%, go2SD around 20.5%).

when i play 100nl, i loosen up naturally for some odd reason (16/8.7/4).

hope that helps a lil

Do you really play that tight??? I am fairly new to cash (from SNG's)and have been around 25/14/2. Are your stats optimal?

What hand ranges do you recommend open betting with, calling with, raising with from what positions? Lets say from EP, MP and LP? Someone told me yesterday my vpip is to high, but I need to figure out which hands to play from where.

Also, what does 5PTbb/100 mean?

Thanks

[/ QUOTE ]

most would agree that my stats are not optimal. however, i dont hold a buckets-worth of weight on the stats alone.

i would also agree that ur vpip is too high. this doesnt mean that ur style cannot b very very profitable with very solid reading ability. if i can remember correctly, one of the greatest winners at 100NL-6max was "phu" running sumthing like 66/22/4

i also play a very different style than most 2p2'rs. i dont raise every PP from everywhere, and i like to limp behind in LP often with fun hands. i find im hyper-profitable in position, and see no reason not to take deeper-effective stack hands when im fairly good at pot-size manipulation (that comes from my PLO/PLO8/deep6 background)

and i believe some1 answered the 5ptBB/100 (comes out to $5/100hands, and i see ~750hands/hr)

also, since the last post on PTBB/100 may have been blurry:

BB = Big blind
ptBB = 2Big Blinds

so at .5/1 (100NL), if u make 3ptBB/100, that means u make $6/100hands

make sense?

Poker tracker big bets. You seem to know what Poker Tracker is. So when it shows you your wins as 5 bb(big bets)/ 100h (hands) it means you win 5 bib bets every one hundred hands you play.
Unfortunately bb=big bets is easily confused with bb= big blind. Poker Tracker uses bb= big bets, which is an essentially Limit Poker term. So to avoid confusion people say ptbb/100h, as big bets don't apply to NL...

[/ QUOTE ]

FWIW, there is an option for PT to reflect those amounts as big blinds instead of big bets. It is in the preferences tab. I usually just think of my WR in big blinds.

You play NL25 that means 1ptbb is 50 c for you. With 10BB (or 5ptbb), you make 2.50 $ per 100 hands.

ok (ignore my follow-up to previous post)

so this month I am at 10ptbb/100 at $25NL so that is equal to $5/100 hands, right?

What is a good (achievable) ratio to have?

An often discussed question. I can def say that 10ptbb is not sustainable. I still think 2 - 4 ptbb is realistic over the long run...

Don't get me wrong split, I'm happy if that would turn out to be right but isn't that a little optimistic?

Not that it matters too much, playing good and improving is more important than winrates anyway IMO...
