I've never understood deciding to leave a pitcher in, but then pulling him (pitch count notwithstanding) after he pitches well but gets unlucky. Unless he's mentally/emotionally unstable, which Wake is not.

Because if Wake gives up another unlucky hit, the media will slam them the next day. There's no doubt in mind sticking with Wake there was the right move.
