Obviously I'm probably not going to meet my future wife from some drunken hookup but... Also, I'm in Laos, not in Thailand, the sex capital of Asia. For example, last week I meet a girl in a Lao club where I'm one of two falang and maybe half the people are gay or ladyboys. And just to avoid the obvious joke, no, she was not a ladyboy. If you're a hooker, this is clearly not the place you go to meet rich white guys. I've picked up girls before in Asia and Western countries, and obviously "hey, before we go back to my place, you're not a hooker, right?" would be a deal breaker in most cases. |

If I meet another one of these "you understand nothing about SE Asia because you never spent six months working on a rice farm in Isan" backpacker types I think I'm going to kill them. I mean seriously kill them. I'm glad I didn't have a weapon last night.

Last night I randomly met Thai film star Arnas Lapanich in a late-night Vientiane restaurant. Everyone was fawning over him so I assume he's a pretty big star. I chatted with him for a bit and found him to be a very friendly down-to-earth guy. Some random Lao girl wanted a picture of us together (?!) so I'll post it if I run into her and can get her to send it to me.
Running into celebrities is probably normal for you guys that live in LA, but the whole situation was very strange and Entourage-like to me. |

does anybody know where i can get melatonin tablets in bangkok?
I tried boots and the places in pat pong. They have it there, but they have 3mg tablets (!!!! - I'm a big guy and 1mg is enough, 3mg would be fine for elephants). |

Degen was banned. After Degen was banned, he used some of his gimmick accounts to try to drum up support for his account not being banned or something. His gimmick account cited the longevity of this stupid thread as some sort of testament to his worthiness.
One of his gimmick accounts was named "Falang": http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...part=1&vc=1 I guess I had no idea what a Falang or Farang0 is, and I just assumed it was stome stupid thing Degen made up. A google search shows it might be some Thai thing, so maybe you're just some independent Thai enthusiast who also chose a similar sounding username. |
