i've been using the "opposite of FGators" style (trying win alot of pots without showdown). i've been relentless and have really opened up my postflop game, stealing a ton of pots.

i check Poker EV and it says: Won Without Showdown: - $237.

That includes the blinds too (folding them to raises and folding them postflop after checking/completing pf). Also I've folded to a quite a few check-raises postflop.

Hmmm . . . this is getting annoying. I expected the green line to be much higher (4,000 hands).

what are you guys stats for Won W/O Showdown? Say, for your last 5k or 10k hands.

I'm down about four buyins in pokerev over 5k hands at NL25. Not sure if it is due to spew or due to me betting Top pair hands and then folding on river when str8 and flush draws hit and some dude shoves after c/c flop and turn. Sometimes I wonder if the rake has a lot to do with the green line. At NL5 and NL2 on stars where it is deep 24/7 my green line was like 3 buyins below tops. Since NL10 and NL25 where no one buys in deep it is at least 4-10 buyins below.

Edit: FWIW if I filter PT for won w/o showdown it says I make 1.75 BB/hand over same sample that PokerEV says I have lost -$125. Wonder which is right and which is wrong. Oh yeah don't forget that AEJones Pokerev that showed him losing like $40k in non showdown pots over 50k hands.

Poker EV includes blinds lost in Won WO Showdown. PT does not. So in PT if you fold blind to steal, then doesn't count against Won WO showdown. So would want to look at Poker EV. But for micros I'm wondering if it's even important, since we get paid off anyway on our hands whether we bluff alot or not.

so that would mean that if I am down five buyins in won w/o showdown it has most likely come from my blind play. If so that makes sense due to the number of times that I have three bet w/ AK or something and had a 9 high flop where i cbet and it failed or c/f along with all the times I steal from the SB and someone three bets me and I fold. so I guess if we want to get this Green line higher we need to examine how we play out of the blinds?

it does make sense because before NL10 I never really tried to steal blinds due to people already in the pot and I was actually a winner in the small blind and my green line was never to far below my showdown winnings.

edit: I filtered PT for either blind folded before showdown and I see almost the same number as I do in pokerev. I think a good way to look at how to get that green line up is to filter all of your PT database by folded before showdown and start looking for spew. First hand I have lost the most with is AQ and I see at least one buyin of spew with it alone lol.
