I thought cheese thread is a better way than a LC thingy. I'm currently playing on partys NL100. I've just recently move to cashgame but pretty much enjoyed it over the 30k hands i played in the last 3 weeks. However, I'm planning to move up to 1/2 NL and would love to share experiences w/ other SSNLer that are on the move. AIM or IRC or ICQ or whatever are options.

If you're a solid winner at any one level, you're not suddenly going to be a loser at another.

More 3-betting, you'll adapt. eventually

Played $1/2nl at the Peppermill in Reno last night. Great game. A bunch of locals who think they're good and some some real Grade A fish. And DEEEEP Stacks too!!! They let you buy in for the largest stack at the table, which is usually at least $800. I usually start w/ $2-$300 and just try to double early. Eventually half the table will have over $700 stacks. Wow, some real characters too. Dbag table coaches, maniacs, reeeeeeaaly bad fish (like 70/0/.02 fish), and grumpy old rocks you can bluff out of pots. I'm actually starting to build a live game roll now. A great break from online, since it's rigged for me to break even for the rest of April. Up $750 in 2 live sessions so far .

Update: Braves 7-1. Dominating all your favorite bitchass teams.

Since you are 26, I don't think the lack of a make out session at this point is a death knell.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't get it - are you saying that younger people are less or more likely to have a make out session by this point?

[/ QUOTE ]

Based on my experience, I had a fair number of make out sessions on first dates (say 70%) up until I was 22 or so. After that, it usually take some work. Of course, by then I wasn't looking for 1-night stands and I started seriously dating my wife at age 23.

I read the MicroBrew and realise how much I don't know about pokah [BTW good link to STT 3.60 SNG pro thread in STDS if you haven't seen it]

and then read the cheese thread and realise how much I have to learn about dating and how much 42_it does

I think you need to set up some kinda of dating coaching service... giggety

Being married for 15 years and having two daughters is a great environment to study the behavior of women.

Of course, I wish I had acquired this knowledge when I was 18 so that I could have used it for more carnal purposes
