God. I'm playing the RTR freeroll and it's just reminding me why I hate tournaments. I really have no clue what I'm doing.

another standard day for me... smash 100nl, then go donk it back at 200nl

seriously, i went from 25nl to 100nl within 3 weeks, with ease. and now ive been stuck at 100nl for 2 1/2 months. I mean jesus it cant be that much of a jump...
Im on a new computer so i dont have database, but basically:
100nl - 70K hands running at 6ptbb/100
200nl - 40K hands running at 0ptbb/100

If anyone has an advice etc that would be good, coz i have nfi y i can beat 100nl for so much, but be breakeven only 1 limit above.

oh btw... i 8 table 100nl and don't really put much thought into it, but only 3-4 table 200nl and concentrate hard as hell

edit: aim - spectickle123, or u can pm me, or u can flame me for being a donk, wateva i dont care... i just need some help

Why are you taking one and two buyin shots at 1/2. Just smash .50/1 for 50k hands and then move up full time. Also you seem way to overaggro playing 1/2 in the few hands I have played with you.

I have a similar problem when i move up to newish limits. I just cant surrender small pots. Ie I'll cont. bet bad flops then double or triple barreled when called. Make bad bluff checkraises in gross spots and all sorts of other bad plays. Just because I feel I have to win every pot. Which is totally the wrong approach.

Not sure if any of this helps. But GL

yeh good point thanx for that,

actually... one thing i forgot to add, i kinda only have 3K online. I've been using the 'take shots once u have 15BI's for the next level' method, but maybe grinding, getting a big roll, then just moving up would be more effective.

Wow I hate that method. Just grind 100NL and move up like Oki-Oki said.

I got my ass handed to me my first like 3 times I seriously tried to move up from 100nl to 200nl. I had trouble constantly getting 3 bet and had some other leaks also. I played poorly in reraised pots. I tried to win every one, not being able to let go and bluffing way to much. I still have problems bluffing but since this year started everything is just going much better. And looking back on it some of it was just really bad luck. It was like I couldn't win a pot with aces every time I moved up (kind of like today lol). Anyway if your making 6 ptbb/100 at 100nl just grind for a couple more weeks and move up when you have 20-25 buy ins. Post hands and grind you'll be there in no time. Also going to include a gross AA hand I way overplayed today for a big pot just to vent. I didn't think he had qq and nothing else really made sense for him to have to be ahead but this one sucked.
