From the descriptions:
lastchance - Standard hooker role. Names one player each night and that player cannot perform night action.

VoraciousReader - Standard prostitute role. Names one player each night and that player has no night action. Peeks & dies as evil mod

So their night action is blocking. If either LC blocks VR or VR blocks LC then the receiver does not get their block. If they block each other then it doesn't really matter as in this game all they can do is block one player.

For the other question I'll defer to durron.

that's not necessarily true, in star trek all blocks occurred simultaneously so they always went through even if the blocker was blocked

i want to have a conversation with the other mods about BOTH questions before giving a final answer on EITHER question.

Ah... Suddenly it all makes sense. So, if they convertible hunt, they auto lose. If they don't, the 3 villager peeks are all good, and the game is over anyway.

The wolves would have their choice of either helping us find scott, or of taping "I am either scott or wolf" tags on their backs by abstaining. Gains information for the village either way.

But yes, I agree we probably don't need to do that in order to win this game.

Yes - until you pick the right person to block. As soon as we either kill or block the person who is blocking our surviving seer, they will be forced to go back to killing. The list of suspects is short enough I bet they would get only one night of trying to find the convertible.
