catcher...i'm not sure why all the hate for shortstacks

look up the guys that buy in for the minimum

95% of them are idiots taking a shot--the recreational guy--the one we want online

they donate

the good ones are rake machines for the poker sites

They win mostly off of 'good' players or 'regs'
They funnel the money on the site through a higher multiple of rake before it leaves

sites have no reason to get rid of short buyins
-the recreational guy loves taking his shot at a bigger game
-the good shorties negate the 'good' regs edge and makes the money cycle through the site rake more before it leaves

in summary,
OH NOES....they be stealing my bucket
is all i hear from the constant whining on this site.

we want them buying in for 50bb+

I think most of us understand that most are bad

they donks won't buy in for 50
they are taking shots

the sites don't want 50....they want 20BBs... they want the edge to good players to be less so the money gets cycled through their rake machine more often

Jeff,

I've been sitting here for the last minute trying to figure out why you called that turn raise with a gutshot. I'm an idiot, and just wasted an entire minute of my life.

[/ QUOTE ]LOL- the REALLY funny part is that when I bet it, I thought I only had a gutshot. When he re-raised I almost insta-folded. I thought "man he's giving me great odds, I REALLY wish I could call his set-having self". Then I realized I was double gutted. Ship it!
