What to do you guys do in this situation.. keep pot small or protect hands against overs? I never know what to do here.. what do I do if I'm up against one player? Bet or turn my hand into a bluff-catcher? Reasons why you'd bet or check if it was HU would be appreciated

Worse thing about that hand is the massive flop 3-bet. Just make it around $100 to go. You're not getting much more FE for $144. You have a monster and would like action, and if he just calls then you have a sweet spot on the turn. I mean you're doing fine even against sets here - but you'd like to get more than just sets to play with you.

[/ QUOTE ]

You know we have J-high, right?

Most of the deck does NOT bring a "sweet spot" for you on the turn at all, lol. Sure, you look like a genius if you set up a nice sized pot for a turn bet and hit your 17-outer, but what about the other 2/3 of the deck?

[/ QUOTE ]

So what do you think of the 3bet then? Or do you have any ideas how to play it better. Like I said I was a bit confused.

[/ QUOTE ]

Depends on a lot of stuff. I just think the "we want action" thing is lol. The WORST line you could take is to 3-bet an amount that villain calls with 100% of his range.

Guys, im BEGGING one of you to tell me how to get my Poker Grapher working right.

I ordered PT and it has a small sample of hands from there. THen the PT messed up and I had to get a new reg code, and now the Poker Grapher has read no hands since. I can only imagine it is because it still is using the original database that is no longer being updated, but obv this may not be the case.

I dont know how to fix whatever teh problem is. Please help.

this guy will call RR w almost any 2 cards and float flops w any pair

i figured this turn bet sets up a pot sized shove on the river and is superior to checking since it may allow him to tilt or do something stupid.

FPS or good?
