Lots of talk lately about nit this and nit that. Im thinking that when a player just starts out at the lower levels, its probably good to nit it up. With the loose play your going to win just by playing better hands than your uneducated opponents. Then as your game improves and you rise up to the higher games, you should start to open up your game to take advantage of the somewhat tigher game conditions than what you just graduated from.
Im thinking that nitty players are players who have not adapted to tighter conditions. As a result they leave some monies on the table that they could be cleaning up on. Does this kind of make sence?? |
