Re: SSNL POKER [cheese] thread SEPT
[ QUOTE ]
As long as you play well OOP, you can play a SC or OSC profitably.. it's not AS profitable, but it can still be profitable. Checkraises on turn are break even? I mean, small sample of 33 hands, but maybe you're checkraising at the wrong times - but I don't think this is the case, it's probably just that it's only 33 hands. [/ QUOTE ] yes but in over 40k hands i Cred 33 times on the turn lol. Isnt that way too little? How many times did you do it? Generally turn raises are respected alot, so i dont think I abuse this very well. I dont think my turn play is good at all. Also apparantly im winning money from the blinds alone That seems very weird too, do you have to check anything else too in that filter thing or something? My winrate isnt very high, If im in the plus with SC, and from the blinds, i think Im doing something wrong (maybe getting stacked too much). Can anyone recommend a good coach that doesnt cost 150$ an hour? |

Re: SSNL POKER [cheese] thread SEPT
Well, in 13k hands in this database, I've checkraised the turn 7 times. I dunno how relevant that is.
Edit - in 76k hands on my other database on this computer, I've checkraised turn 56 times. |

Re: SSNL POKER [cheese] thread SEPT
what about the blinds? Im up money from all hands i played in the blinds, I think thats pretty weird? I like to 3bet light alot of pos raisers tho, and prolly won some sick pots from the blinds. I think thats the explanation.

Re: SSNL POKER [cheese] thread SEPT
[ QUOTE ]
I am down $2k over my last 4k hands at 200nl. This is my first 10bi downswing in over a year. Probably played over >100k hands at 200nl. It's smashed my confidence. I think I really was playing pretty bad. 8-10 tabling when I usualy 4-6. I made some questionable 3barrels and stack-offs, ontop of not playing my A Game. Any suggestions for what to do? Im thinking: - Don't play till this weekend - Study every night until then - Only play 4 tables for first few sessions, tighten up from 23/18 to 17/14 for a bit. Help [/ QUOTE ] This has of course all been said before, but... First, remember that a 10BI downswing really isn't too bad. Also, remember that just as you're never as good as you think you are, nor are you as bad as you think. Next, take a step away. Don't play for a day or so. Study some hands, watch some videos maybe, and go to the gym or wherever and get in a good work out or two to blow off some steam. After you feel refreshed and feel you've analyzed your play thoroughly, get back at it. |
