Task 8 - Scavenger Hunt

For this event, you need to scour the web for the items in your team's list. Use image search from yahoo, google, etc to find pictures and then post the picture in your team thread. If you re-host the image, please post a link to the original picture as well so we can verify that it is an Untouched photo. So no using photoshop, etc. Also, list the items you believe are in the picture so I can give u credit for them.

The more items that you can find in one picture, the more points you get. However, once someone has posted an image containing an item, that item cannot be found in ANY of the team's subsequent images. If someone later posts a picture with an item already found in a picture, then the new picture doesn't count for any points AND there is a 5 point penalty for each item previously found.

Additionally, if your picture has any items from the other team's list, then you lose double the points that that item would count for (see below list of point values).

Other rules: you may not post multiple pics in a row for your team. At least one other team member must post a picture before u can post another one.

Due Date: Tuesday at 6am eastern.

Scoring:
1 item - 1
2 items - 3
3 items - 6
4 items - 10
5 items - 15
6 items - 25
7 items - 40
8 items - 60
9 items - 90
10 items - 150
11 items - 225
12 items - 350


So if you post a picture that has 3 items on your list that hadn't been posted before, that would be +6 for your team. If you then posted a picture with 5 new items on ur list and 1 from before, you will get -5 points. If you then posted a picture with 4 new items on your list and 2 items from the other team's list, you would get 0 points, as their 2 items get doubled to 4 items, so +10 and -10 = 0.

Rods: 1 rod for every 10 points; 3 bonus rods for team who gets the most points; 2 bonus rods for not posting any pics with items from other team in them. 5 bonus rods for not getting any penalties at all.

i'd get 10 points for my 4 items, but I also hit 2 of the other team's items, so 2x2=4, so -10 for those, so 0 points for this picture, and my team could no longer use any of those 4 items in any pictures.
