Has anyone watched Kurusawa's Seven Samurai? I bought it a while back because it looks and is meant to be awesome. But I feel too intimidated to watch it (like 4 hours long). Any lovers?

It is a classic for a reason. It's a great movie.

I have a feeling Bourne Ultimatum is going to suck. I loved Identity and Supremacy - the third part of any trilogy always sucks imho.

I'm really into independent/foreign movies lately. One I recently watched is called "Amores Perros" or "Love's a Bitch."

The main character is the same guy from "The Science of Sleep"

Anyway, I thought Amores Perros was really good, albeit a bit sad. It was nominated for a whole bunch of awards, including an oscar. Check it out.

Oh yeah I kinda agree with Little Miss Sunshine being good. Was one of those movies I was kinda like 'eh', but after it finished I realised I liked it.

Man there's a really beautiful scene in Little Miss Sunshine.

When the boy gets out of the car...

I don't want to give too much away, but it was so beautiful.

YGOS, etc

Some good movies that I'd recommend:

Sleeper (HILARIOUS old school Woody Allen movie)

The Graduate (ldo)

No Man's Land (Bosnian conflict mid-90's, really intense situation between two soldiers on opposite sides)

American Movie (rrrreally funny documentary about this weird/awesome low budget horror film maker)

it's not 4 hours long, and it's my favorite movie of all time.

I'm not biased because it's japanese, I've loved that movie forever. It's [censored] godlike.
