"People around you" is one thing. When you're in a 30% minority, that's quite another.

[/ QUOTE ]

wow. get a grip.

[/ QUOTE ]
I think you're the one out of touch here if you seriously think that being in a severe minority, particularly if it's raging radical liberals or raging reactionary conservatives, doesn't make a serious difference. How many posts are there on here where people complain about being in a town full of conservatives and/or religious freaks?

i have no idea how many posts are on where people complain about being in a town full of conservatives and/or religious freaks. i DO know that there are an infinite number of ways that people can communicate/connect/coexist/be neighborly without a political discussion ever coming up.

Pissing into the wind, my friend.

If not all of 2p2, at least OOT is inhabited by an overwhelming majority of liberals.

"NeoCon's" like myself are hated in the most vile of fashions here in OOT. The only thing that I find funny is how stereotypically liberal it is. Much like Blarg did in this thread, every time one of the libs gets backed into a corner or is called out on something, they immediately "take the high road" and refuse to answer. Hell, I've seen people BANNED for being so bold as to vehemently defend conservative/religious ideals against the onsolaught of liberal rhetoric.

Remember folks:

[ QUOTE ]
Any man who is under 30, and is not a liberal, has not heart; and any
man who is over 30, and is not a conservative, has no brains. --Winston Churchill

[/ QUOTE ]

Don't worry. You'll get there eventually.

EDIT: I forgot the most favorite tactic of all. Spew every single page of the lib playbook into a political thread, and then when someone objects and offers a retort, berate them for not taking it to the political forum. That's always fun too.

[/ QUOTE ]

take this crap to politics or somewhere else. bye.

Spend a few months in Madison.

You can't shake a stick without hitting someone carrying posterboard on a stick.

And this makes the place uninhabitable? It is pretty clear that the issue is you. You now need to go away, as this thread needs to get back on track. (And if you were at all literate, you'd see that I did indeed live there for years. I had no problem avoiding people with posterboard.)
