Don't know why the original poster isn't more pissed though. If I lost $4000, I'd be steaming. I would be angry as hell if I lost $4000. Does $4000 mean nothing to people any more?

[/ QUOTE ]

Or was it $4000 for withdrawal and more left in his WPEX account? Am I the only one who finds his nonchalance at losing thousands a bit suspicious and annoying?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think DAC said he has another 10k in the site or something similar, it's in this thread. And, yes, others have commented on his nonchalance over the siezure. I agree it is suspicious.

What I do like:

1. WSEX seems to be taking a stand against bots.

What I don't like:

1. WSEX isn't being clear as to what is/isn't allowed. Most sites have a list.
2. WSEX want YOU to follow their vague T&C even they won't follow them. (If this guy was running a bout, monies should be distributed back to the affected players according to their T&C.)

While they do have 100% rake back, I now have doubt about what is/ isn't allowed.

The WSEX GM has repeatedly said that the account closing and siezure had nothing to do with the cashout. He said that this guy's bot use came to light as the result of their implementation of new bot detection tools.

[/ QUOTE ]

Nigel said checks were done only after the cashout request. We don't know the truth, but I tend to believe the guy not talking publically over the one protecting his company's image.

Are all these people saying now they are screwed cause they have no idea what is and isnt allowed joking? Download the software and play with it and you will be fine. Obviously poker tracker alone is fine because they went out of their way to allow it as they wished. Besides that if you want to try to bend the rules go ahead and start one of these threads when they hopefully catch you.

It is fair to say that more than half of the site’s users use Poker Tracker.

[/ QUOTE ]

No, unless you have actual number to back that up, it isn't fair to say that.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think it is possible to determine the actual number, of course. So, my estimate is just that, an estimate. Based on my expierience, I think it's a fair estimate. You are free to disagree of course. Do you have any constructive comments to contribute here?

[/ QUOTE ]

Finally, suggesting that over half of Stars' players (about 50,000 during peak hours)

[/ QUOTE ]

Where did that number come from?

No where close to 50,000

Not to get the thread any more off topic than it already is, the percentage of players using PT is dependent on the level. At 3/6 full ring limit on PS I would venture to say (as a guesstimate) that well over half of the people sitting at the table use PT and a HUD.

I find it amazing that WSEX has the balls to take this guys money. I reported this exact player to WSEX 2-3 months ago with my suspision that he was a bot. What did WSEX say? NO you are wrong sorry DAC is not a bot.

Now the guy wants to collect his winnings and WSEX now says that he is a bot. It is a complete joke. Even if he is a bot pay the man his money. You didnt care that he was a bot before so why do you care now? Because the money is leaving the network is the only reason.

It was ok for DAC to wager in the sportsbook with money he won illegally. I am sure it would of been ok to play with the money he won illegally in the casino. Now he wants it and he is a bot. Too funny!!!!!!!!!

SO you thought he was a bot. They could not detect it then. They can detect it now. So they freeze his account. Best they can do at this point.

I would hope money can be returned to players who he played against but this would be quite difficult. Maybe have a freeroll for players he played against? Not sure. Curious what the solution would be.

Again if DAC is found innocent, i will vehemently apologize, but from the way he has acted, i sincerely doubt it

The funniest thing about this thread is all the people saying "wow, they're working so hard, I'm going to open an account today". Getting your money is much more important than limiting the amount of cheating on a site. Cheating may cost you a few bucks or so but if they seize your roll, you're done. Whats the point of playing on a site that would do that. Bots? Not really a big issue. Most good players can outthink a bot pretty easily. I really don't think I've run into them at the sites I play. PT and PA? Not cheating, Gimme a site that allows it. So what if the site is a little tougher, its not like WPEX is ripe w/fish these days.

After reading this thread I would NEVER put a single dollar into their site. It seems like a very shady operation and I wouldn't want to lose my roll b/c someone believes I was cheating without proof.

I've heard of WSEX doing similar shady stuff to some of their winning sports bettors. Some these guys played big enough to where litigation was a legit option but for me? I don't have that kind of time and cash. So I say buhbye to that site. Give me the crappy tech support of other sites. I've never had a problem gettin my money and in the end thats all that really matters
