(a) as mentioned above, the poker room is attached to a (depressingly) huge bingo hall, not the casino, so the lighting is not the best (flourescent lights) and fewer "blackjack players who want to try poker" are making their way there;

[/ QUOTE ]

This is just something that boggles my mind. I don't understand why wisconsin poker room managers can't get it through their heads that the best poker rooms are well advertised and right out in the open.

[/ QUOTE ]

Because the poker room manager has no say in where the poker room goes. The casino allows them the space that they get....

Bingo makes the casino far more money than Poker does. The same goes for downstairs, they are not going to waste room for poker when it could be filled with more profitable slot machines.

When they expand the casino in full it might change. They only get so much traffic for X amount of slot machines. (Bingo on the other hand is always going strong)

[/ QUOTE ]

I didn't mean poker room managers. I meant whoever's in charge. And whoever that is has to either admit that they don't really want the poker room to make as much as it could or that they are at least moderately incompetent for locating it where it is (which their moderate incompetence wouldn't allow them to do, but forget about that).

"The day Floor - white guy, late 30s/early 40s, with a mustache - is an inconsiderate, jerk-off prick who wouldn't know customer service if it came up and bit him in the nose."

[/ QUOTE ]

If his name is Bob, he's easily the worst in history. Doesn't fit the age description though but yeah, a few floor people need a LOT of work.

Have you had, uh, great experiences with him, too?

[/ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ]

I think he's talking about Mark. Bob doesnt have a mustashe. I think you would have to be pretty extra specially sensative to be offended by Mark though, he's just like that.

Since I had my forced kill post incident I think the floor has gotten better. Apparently survailence has been cracking down, they've been audited lately, and they are trying really hard to be consistant.

I even asked one of the floor (I think his name was Jeff) about the kill situation one day and he said that it was something that they had wrong in the past and they've corrected it. (so now if there is no flop on the kill, the "leg up" goes in the middle and the killer who folded his hand doesnt post another kill)

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I remember mark. I haven't dealt with him in a while but I can see where someone would get a really bad impression of him. I think he would rather make a fast, authoritative decision and establish his control than actually make the right decision. The difference between him and bob is that bob is exactly the same and happens to be a colossal dikhead on top of it. Mark is usually personable at least.
